Happy New Year!

Whoa, what a whirlwind December it has been! Sorry I haven’t kept up with my promise to update as much as possible.

My Philippines holiday was fantastic. I was in Zambales for one week just in time for the town’s fiesta and to host a huge party for my grandmother for her 80th birthday! Her party was a success we had so many guests and had a blast. While in Zambales we also went to 100 Islands in Pangasinan, which is about an hour up north. The 100 islands were so neat to see, scattered in groups of 5 or more, and some individual islands all by themself.

For the rest of the trip we went to Manila, which is we’re I grew up as a child, and also to Palawan. In Manila, I got to hang out and see my cousin Daniela, who I unfortunately was not able to visit in Hong Kong just a few days earlier. Our plans got kind of skewed and so we rescheduled. While also in Manila, we did tons of shopping, eating and visiting some of my mum’s kumares (girlfriends).

Palawan was amazing. The island has such rich vegetation it’s literally a sea of greens enveloped by water surrounding its 360 views. We went to see the underground river and that was incredible! The tour itself is less than an hour long but it certainly lives up to its recently acquired title as “One of the New Natural Wonders of the World”. Truly a must see!

When I got back, I had a few days to cure my jet lag before heading into the most busiest season for work. Luckily, I was able to ease into my normal sleeping schedule with some assistance from exhaustion and sleep depravation and got right into the swing of things for work.

So much so, that I completely forgot to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! I have been so busy as of late I just never got around to it. But lest you worry, I did not want to miss sending you off into the New Year without saying something so here goes a poem written by yours truly:

A new year is approaching and with it entails, a greeting and many wishes for amazing sales.

May your days be long like sample sale lines, may your problems disappear like a glass of fine wine.

May your food be exquisite, delicious and aplenty, and your figure as stunning as a new fur from Fendi.

May your health be in a state that’s greater than great and an abundance of love for you and your mate.

May your finances soar like a Boeing jet and your closets expand like the internet.

May your holidays be fun whether in snow or sun, and your photos reveal a smile brighter than the sun.

Much success in your career, or school if you’re a student. And may you travel the world like the “Occupy Movement”.

May you always be happy and nothing but smiles and collect nothing on your credit card but airline miles!
